Dan Moose

Director of Church Planting Multiplication

Dan Moose has served the EFCA’s North Central District in varying capacities since 2001. He started his spiritual growth at a church youth rally where he clearly heard the Gospel for the first time and placed his faith in Jesus as his Savior and Lord. He graduated from Oral Roberts University with his BA, and later Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary with his MDiv. Dan left his first pastorate and started planting churches in 1983. Dan is currently training in God’s school of Hard Knocks and Personal Transformation. He and his wife, Cheryl, have 3 daughters, 12 grandkids, and 2 great-grandchildren. They love camping, all sports, attending kids’ sports events, and working together. Dan is personally rejuvenated through farming and working outdoors. He is grateful to serve alongside our district team as we serve pastors, church leaders, and churches.

As the director of church multiplication, his ministry focuses on opening lanes for multiplication with any church, training and preparing church planters and churches to plant, church revisioning, and revitalizing struggling churches.

Amanda Wenninger

Director of Church Planting Administration

Amanda joined the staff of Second Chair as the Director of Church Planting Administration in January, 2024.  She previously taught kindergarten for several years before becoming a church administrator in 2017. Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, Neal, and her daughters, Mila & Lucy.

The church plants that Second Chair serves do not have a staff admin.  This means administrative work is often done by pastors. Amanda's role allows her to fill that void and free up pastoral staff for that which they are best suited.
